James Demarse

James Demarse most recently appeared at the Goodman inThe Trip to Bountiful during the 2007/2008 Season. Mr. DeMarse’s credits include Dividing the Estate at Primary Stages and The Trip to Boun­tiful at Signature Theatre Company. He has performed in theaters across the United States and in Europe. Mr. DeMarse appears in the films The Baxter and Side by Each with Blythe Danner and in episodes of the televi­sion shows Law and Order, Criminal Intent, Special Victims Unit, Rescue Me and The Sopranos. He was the artistic director of The 42nd Street Workshop in New York for seven years and is also a produced playwright (off-Broadway) and a member of The Actors Studio, The Ensemble Studio Theatre and The Dramatists Guild of America.
