Artist Bio
J. Steven White
(Bio as of February 2012)
J. Steven White most recently collaborated with the Goodman on The Convert during the 2011/2012 Season. Mr. White’s fight direction has been seen on Broadway in 18 productions, including The Pillowman, The Color Purple, The Pirate Queen, Golden Child and A View From the Bridge with Anthony LaPaglia. Regional credits include Theresa Rebeck’s The Bells (directed by Emily Mann), Gem of the Ocean and A Moon for the Misbegotten at McCarter Theatre and As You Like It at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Mr. White was an instructor of Danai Gurira’s at the Graduate Acting Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
