Artist Bio
Ilana Faust
(Bio as of June 2010)
Ilana Faust most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Sins of Sor Juana during the 2009/2010 Season. Ms. Faust appeared as Magdalena in Tanya Saracho’s Our Lady of the Underpass at Teatro Vista and Anna in Chekhov’s a Life in the Country at Greasy Joan & Co. Ms. Faust holds a BA in Performance from the University of Chicago, where she appeared in The Seagull and Balm in Gilead, directed by Steppenwolf ensemble member Yasen Peyankov. She is an artistic associate of Teatro Luna, with whom she has performed in Machos, an interview-based, ensemble-created show that received two Jeff Awards for Best New Work and Best Ensemble. Ms. Faust’s other Chicago credits include The Bear with Soul Theatre, Lunatic(a)s by Teatro Luna (performing understudy), Yerma at Halcyon Theatre and Another Part of the House with Teatro Vista. Ms. Faust is originally from Argentina.
