Artist Bio
Hallie Foote

Hallie Foote most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Trip to Bountiful during the 2007/2008 Season. Ms. Foote’s off-Broadway credits include Dividing the Estate; The Day Emily Married; When They Speak of Rita (Primary Stages); The Carpetbagger’s Children (Lincoln Center Theater); The Trip to Bountiful, The Last of the Thorntons, Talking Pictures, Night Seasons and Laura Dennis (Signature Theatre Company); The Roads to Home (Circle in the Square); and The Widow Claire (Lamb’s Theater Company). Her regional credits include The Carpetbagger’s Children (Alley Theatre, Hartford Stage and Guthrie Theater), The Death of Papa (PlayMakers Repertory Company) and God’s Pictures (Indiana Repertory Theatre). Ms. Foote’s film credits include 1918, On Valentine’s Day, Courtship and Walking to the Waterline. She was a producer on Lily Dale for Showtime/Hallmark Hall of Fame. Her awards include the 2006 Lucille Lortel Award for Best Supporting Actress in The Trip to Bountiful, the 2002 Drama League Award for The Carpetbagger’s Children, the 2000-2001 Drama League Award for The Last of the Thorntons, the 1995 Drama Desk Award for the Horton Foote plays at Signature Theatre Company and the 1993 Obie Award for The Roads to Home.
