Artist Bio
Guenia Lemos
(Bio as of May 2006)
Guenia Lemos most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Clean House during the 2005/2006 Season. She first performed the role last summer in Washington, D.C., at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. Her New York theater credits include Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Miriam in Lexy, Maria in The Male Creature, Georgie in Spike Heels, Fernanda/Nonna in The Bubble and Prudencia in The House of Bernarda Alba. Television credits include Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC), As the World Turns (CBS) and One Life to Live (ABC). Film credits include The Nightlistener, Father Son Holy Ghost, If It Wasn’t For the Money, Pretty, The Killers, Re Trato and Cupid. She has also performed numerous plays on the Brazilian stage, including a one-woman show called Waltz #6 by Nelson Rodrigues.
