Artist Bio
Geoffrey M. Curley
(Bio as of March 2003)
Geoffrey M. Curley most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Dinner with Friends during the 2002/2003 Season. He is an award-winning designer of scenery, costume and light. His designs have been seen throughout the United States, in Europe and Asia. Based in Chicago, he received an After Dark Award for Scenic Design 2002 and Outstanding Season 2000, the 2000 Joseph Jefferson Award for Scenic Design and has been honored with four nominations. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to design with numerous local theater companies including Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, Shakespeare Rep, Court Theatre, Milwaukee Rep., Fox Theatricals, Northlight Theatre, American Players Theatre, Chicago Opera Theatre and About Face, with which he is an artistic associate. Aside from theatrical designing, Mr. Curley has been an adjunct professor at DePaul University and an annual Guest Artist at Grinnell College. He has had the opportunity to design an award winning international film. Currently he is the artistic director and an ensemble member of Roadworks Productions.
