Genevieve Ven Johnson most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2004/2005 Season. Other Goodman credits include Suzanne in The House of Martin Guerre. Court Theatre credits includeCarmen, Desire Under the Elms, and The Iphigenia Cycle, which was remounted off-Broadway at the American Place Theatre. Other Chicago credits include Lady Capulet inRomeo and Juliet at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Estraven in The Left Hand of Darknessand Karana in Island of the Blue Dolphins with Lifeline Theatre; Lucienne in Hotel D’Amour with Buffalo Theatre Ensemble; Albert Einstein in The Hiroshima Project at Bailiwick; and Beggar’s Holiday with Pegasus Players. This past summer she performed in Quilters at PCPA Theatrefest. She appeared in Anton In Show Business at Milwaukee’s Renaissance Theatreworks, The Heidi Chronicles at New American Theatre, and A Tale of Two Cities at the Asolo Theatre. Other credits include two European tours of Jesus Christ Superstar, and several feature films.
