Artist Bio
Garth Helm
(Bio as of April 2014)
Garth Helm makes his Goodman debut. His Chicago credits include Beauty and the Beast and Shrek (Chicago Shakespeare Theater); The Most Happy Fella (Ravinia Festival); Could It Be Magic? (Mercury Theater); The Buddy Holly Story, Evita, Ragtime, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, Xanadu and Oliver (Drury Lane Theatre). His Broadway designs include Rocky, Pippin (Tony Award nomination) and Ghost the Musical. Mr. Helm’s associate sound design credits include We Will Rock You, Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Concert (O2 Arena, London), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (NYC and US Tour), Dirty Dancing and Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular, as well as production or advance sound supervisor for The Phantom of the Opera (Broadway), The Pirate Queen (Chicago and NYC), all North American productions of Ragtime, Fosse, Seussical, Sunset Blvd (Toronto and Vancouver), Hal Prince’s Show Boat (Chicago and Toronto) and various tours by Livent, Inc.
