Artist Bio
Frank Girardeau
(Bio as of March 2008)
Frank Girardeau most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Trip to Bountiful during the 2007/2008 Season. Mr. Girardeau has also appeared in New York in Horton Foote’s plays The Trip to Bountiful, Night Seasons and Talking Pictures at Signature Theatre Company; The Roads to Home directed by Mr. Foote at Lamb’s Theater Company; and The Road to the Graveyard, The Traveling Lady and The One-Armed Man directed by Harris Yulin at the Ensemble Studio Theatre. He also appeared in The Death of Papa directed by Michael Wilson at Hartford Stage. Mr. Girardeau has been a producer of Horton by the Stream (a summer theater project dedicated to the work of Horton Foote) for 14 years. Recent film work includes We Own the Night directed by James Gray, Synecdoche, NY directed by Charlie Kaufman, The List directed by Marcel Langenegger, Be Kind, Rewind directed by Michel Gondry and Revolutionary Road directed by Sam Mendes.
