Artist Bio
Fawzia Mirza
(Bio as of May 2013)
Fawiza Mirza previously appeared at the Goodman in The Happiest Song Plays Last, Teddy Ferrara, and readings of Rohina Malik’s The Mecca Tales and Dustin Lance Black’s new play 8. Local theater credits include Theatre Seven of Chicago’s In the Heart of America, 16th Street Theater’s Dental Society Midwinter Meeting and Silk Road Rising’s The DNA Trail, as well as their Jeff Award-winning Scorched. Ms. Mirza tours yearlong to colleges, universities and military institutions around the world performing Sex Signals, a comedy-educational show about dating, sex and consent. She has been in a number of Chicago-made independent films, including Jamie and Jessie are Not Together, Scrooge & Marley, The Queen of My Dreams and the upcoming films Hatboxes and Silhouettes. Her web series credits include The Throwaways and Easy Abby, and she writes, produces and stars in her ongoing web series Kam Kardashian.
