Artist Bio
Evan Zes
(Bio as of January 2006)
Evan Zes most recently appeared at the Goodman in Pericles during the 2005/2006 Season. Off-Broadway credits include Time To Burn at Manhattan Ensemble Theatre; American Dreams, Lost and Found and As You Like It with the Acting Company and Romeo and Juliet at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Other New York credits include Love’s Labour’s Lost and The Taming of The Shrew. Tours include Julie Taymor’s King Stag at the Barbican in London and Dream Play at the Moscow Art Theatre. Additional theater credits include The Comedy of Errors, A Winter’s Tale and Macbeth at The Old Globe; The Merchant of Venice, Full Circle and Ivanov at the American Repertory Theatre; Pericles (with Mary Zimmerman) at Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. Film credits include The Street and Guido and Luigi. Television credits include All My Children. Mr. Zes received his M.F.A. in acting from the American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre at Harvard University.
