Ernest Bentley

Ernest Bentley (David/Val) makes his Goodman Theatre debut. Chicago credits include Titanic: Scenes from the British Wreck Commissioner’s Inquiry, 1912 (Court Theatre). Regional theater credits include The Burial at Thebes, Appomattox and A Fool’s Tale (Guthrie Theater); Off-Broadway credits include Julius Caesar and Hamlet (The Acting Company). National tours include Julius Caesar, Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Comedy of Errors and As You Like It (The Acting Company). Television credits include Chicago Fire. A Detroit native, his notable achievements include the 2018 Michigan Wilde Award for Best Supporting Actor in The Colored Museum (Hilberry Theater). He is represented by Stewart Talent.
