Artist Bio
Emily Sophia Knapp

Emily Sophia Knapp makes her Goodman Theatre debut. She has appeared off-Broadway in Throne of Blood (Brooklyn Academy of Music); Millicent Scowlworthy (Summer Play Festival) and This Place is a Desert (Prelude Festival). Regionally she has appeared in The White Snake (Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Love’s Labors Lost, Willful, The Pirates of Penzance, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, All’s Well that Ends Well, She Loves Me, Death and the King’s Horseman, The Merchant of Venice, The Comedy of Errors, The Taming of the Shrew, On the Razzle (Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Pericles (American Repertory Theatre); The Glass Menagerie (Lyric Stage Company); On Raftery’s Hill (Sugan Theatre Company) and In This is the End of Sleeping (Chekhov Now Festival). Knapp served as the 2012 Oregon Shakespeare Festival Artistic Office Fellow and Associate Director for All the Way (OSF world premiere and ART). She has an acting certificate from L’Ecole Philippe Gaulier and a BA from Harvard.
