Dona Granata
(Bio as of September 2008)
Dona Granata most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Turn of the Century during the 2008/2009 Season. Chicago credits include Robert Altman’s The Wedding at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Don Giovanni at the Chicago Opera Theater. Broadway credits include Amour, Modern Orthodox and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Regional credits include productions at Long Wharf Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, Old Globe, Centerstage, Dallas Theater Center, Folger Theatre and Bay Street Theatre. Film credits include Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Dr. T. and the Women, Cookie’s Fortune, The Gingerbread Man, Kansas City, Gloria, Critical Car, Lust in the Dust and the upcoming The Ramen Girl. Her television credits include Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows (Emmy Award, Costume Designer’s Guild Award), The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone (Emmy Nomination, CDG Nomination), The Reagans, Robert Altman’s Jazz ’34 (Emmy Nomination), Mrs. Strong, David’s Mother and Filthy Gorgeous. Opera credits include The Metropolitan Opera, Opera Australia, Covent Garden Opera House, Los Angeles Opera, Houston Grand Opera, San Francisco Symphony, Opera Theatre of St. Louis and Santa Fe Opera House.
