Artist Bio
David Lindsay-Abaire
(Bio as of March 2007)
David Lindsay-Abaire most recently collabroated with the Goodman on Rabbit Hole during the 2006/2007 Season. David Lindsay-Abaire’s Rabbit Hole premiered on Broadway last season at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Biltmore Theater and was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Play. His other plays include Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, Wonder of the World and A Devil Inside, among others. He is currently writing the book and lyrics for the Broadway-bound musical Shrek. In addition to his work in theater, he wrote the screenplay for the upcoming Newline feature Inkheart, and is currently at work on screen adaptations of his plays Kimberly Akimbo for Dreamworks, and Rabbit Hole for 20th Century Fox. He is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and the Juilliard School as well as a proud member of New Dramatists, the Dramatists Guild and the Writers Guild of America.
