Artist Bio

David Blixt most recently appeared at the Goodman in King Lear during the 2006/2007 Season. He is making his Goodman Theatre debut. His Chicago credits include The Merchant of Venice and Richard II at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Macbeth at First Folio Shakespeare Festival; The Sirens of Titan at Lifeline Theatre; Stardust at Griffin Theatre Company; and Tartuffe at City Lit Theater Company. Regional credits include Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew and Hamlet at Michigan Shakespeare Festival. Mr. Blixt is a founding member of A Crew of Patches Theatre Company. His first novel, The Master of Verona, is slated to be published in 2007 by St. Martin’s Press.
