Darren Criss

Darren Criss rose to fame starring on the television series Glee (2010–2015) and received Emmy and Golden Globe acting awards for his leading role as spree killer Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story (2018). His Broadway credits include the 2022 revival of David Mamet’s seminal play American Buffalo alongside Laurence Fishburne and Sam Rockwell, as well as the lead roles in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He is a founding member and co-owner of StarKid Productions, a musical theater company that mounted many shows in Chicago. Criss first garnered attention by writing most of the music and lyrics and playing the lead role of Harry Potter in StarKid’s A Very Potter Musical. Darren most recently hosted The Tony Awards: Act One and penned the music and lyrics for the opening number performed by Julianne Hough and himself. Other recent credits include Netflix’s Hollywood and Roku’s Royalties.
