Artist Bio
Dan Donohue
(Bio as of April 2019)
Dan Donohue (Leontes) makes his Goodman Theatre debut. Broadway credits include Scar in The Lion King (also national tour). He has performed in more than 30 productions at Oregon Shakespeare Festival and played roles at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Geffen Playhouse, Long Wharf Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company, Asolo Repertory Theatre and more. Recent television credits include recurring roles in Longmire, Damnation, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Aquarius, Strange Angel and The Last Tycoon. Donohue was an inaugural recipient of the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship. He appeared in the title role in Hamlet at Oregon Shakespeare Festival—a production recorded and nominated for a Grammy Award in 2011.
