Courtney Shaughnessy most recently appeared at the Goodman in Wit during the 2000/2001 Season. Other Goodman credits include the role of Patty in Wendy MacLeod’s School­girl Figure. She is one of four founding members and resident playwright of Serendipity Theatre Company, with which she was a con­tributing writer for their inaugural production of A.D.D.—Another Day of Distraction last summer. Other Chicago credits include Tina in the Step­penwolf’s workshop of Steven Froelich’s Weekend in Rio with Laurie Met­calf; Raunchy in Tim Norwind’s The Pratts, the Actress in La Ronde and Suzy in Poona the !*#! Dog with Trap Door; and Carrie in The Pirahna Tank for the Chicago New Plays Festival. She continues to write and work on voiceovers and will appear this summer in Weekend in Rio at the Edin­burgh Festival in Scotland.
