Artist Bio
Christine Estabrook
(Bio as of May 2006)
Christine Estabrook most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Clean House during the 2005/2006 Season. Broadway credits include The Sisters Rosensweig, The Heidi Chronicles, I’m Not Rappaport and The Cherry Orchard. Off-Broadway credits include Ladyhouse Blues, Win/Lose/Draw, Baby with the Bathwater and Blue Window. She received an Obie Award for her work in Pastorale and received a Drama Desk Award and Clarence Derwent Award for The Boys Next Door. Regional credits include work at Arena Stage, LA Stage West, Brooklyn Academy of Music, La Jolla Playhouse, Hartford Stage, Long Wharf, the Hartman and American Repertory Theatre, where she was awarded the Charlotte Cushman Acting Award for the 1990/1991 season. Film credits include Spider-Man 2, Grind, The Usual Suspects and Catch that Kid. Television credits include work on Frasier, Hot Properties, X-Files, Crossing Jordan, NYPD Blue, The Guardian and Numb3rs. Estabrook was a series regular on The Crew, The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer and Nicki. She is best known for her role as Mrs. Huber on season one of ABC’s Desperate Housewives.
