Artist Bio
Chicago Children’s Theatre

Chicago Children’s Theatre most recently collaborated with the Goodman on the 2008 Latino Theatre Festival. Founded in 2005, Chicago Children’s Theatre aspires to enrich the Chicago community through diverse and significant programming that engages and inspires the child in all of us. Led by Artistic Director Jacqueline Russell and Board Chair Todd Leland, Chicago Children’s Theatre is supported by a dynamic Board of Directors comprised of dedicated individuals from the entertainment, philanthropic and business fields. A committed Artistic Council of Chicago-based actors, directors, musicians and designers also lends its support to the theater. Chicago Children’s Theatre strives to provide affordable and accessible theater to Chicago-area families and schoolchildren. Chicago Children’s Theatre offers educational materials and programs for families and educators to supplement and highlight the themes of their productions. Since their inaugural production of A Year with Frog and Toad in 2006, Chicago Children’s Theatre has produced Ray Bradbury’s Dandelion Wine; 4-ISH; Go, Dog. Go!; Honus and Me; The Selfish Giant; and Hana’s Suitcase.
