Artist Bio
Chester Gregory
(Bio as of September 2014)
Chester Gregory returns to Goodman Theater, where he previously appeared in Drowning Crow. His Broadway credits include Hairspray, Tarzan, Cry-Baby and Sister Act. He has toured nationally with Dreamgirls and Sister Act, as well as his one-man show The Eve of Jackie Wilson. Mr. Gregory has received many awards including the Jeff Award and NAACP Theatre Award, and has been presented the key to the city of his hometown of Gary, Indiana, as well as East Chicago. He has also been chosen as an Honorary State Representative. In addition to acting, Mr. Gregory performs as a recording artist known as CHESS. ChesterGregory.com
