Byron Glenn Willis

Byron Glenn Willis most recently appeared at the Goodman in Purlie during the 2005/2006 Season. Mr. Willis’s other Goodman credits include Congo Square’s production of Black Nativity. Regional credits include Purlie at Pasadena Playhouse; Dreamgirls at Arkansas Repertory and Marriott Lincolnshire; Ragtime with Light Opera Works/Chicago Theatre Co.; Five Guys Named Moe at Drury Lane; Comfortable Shoes at the Royal George Theatre; My Heart Is Crying-The Jackie Wilson Story and Doo Wop Shoo Bop with Black Ensemble Theater; the world premiere of Bingo Long & His Traveling All-Stars at DreamStreet Theatre and Union County Arts Center; Once On This Island with Metropolis Theatre/Apple Tree Theater and Hair at Barn Theater and also on the European tour. Film credits include Barbershop 2. Television credits include Trapped in the Closet, an R. Kelly music video. Mr. Willis received a B.A. from Mississippi Valley State University.
