Artist Bio
Billy Eugene Jones
(Bio as of May 2010)
Billy Eugene Jones most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Good Negro during the 2009/2010 Season. Mr. Jones’ Broadway credits include Passing Strange, Radio Golf, Gem of the Ocean and A Raisin in the Sun. His off-Broadway credits include Waiting for Godot and Three Sisters at Classical Theatre of Harlem and The Actors Rap at The Acorn Theatre. His regional credits include Stick Fly at Arena Stage/Huntington Theatre Company; Death of a Salesman, Richard II and Breath, Boom at Yale Repertory Theatre; The Wild Duck and A Raisin in the Sun at Great Lakes Theater Festival; Guys and Dolls, Hamlet, All’s Well That Ends Well and Avenue X at Dallas Theater Center; Spunk at Actors Theatre of Louisville; Ain’t Misbehavin’ at Circle Theatre; Jitney at Alliance Theatre; Gee’s Bend at Alabama Shakespeare Festival; Living Room in Africa at Gloucester Stage Company; Othello at California Shakespeare Theater; Angels in America at Stage West Theatre; and Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, Macbeth and Twelfth Night at Shakespeare Festival of Dallas. Mr. Jones is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University and Yale School of Drama.
