Artist Bio
Bert Matias
(Bio as of April 2011)
Bert Matias most recently appeared at the Goodman in El Nogalar during the 2010/2011 Season. His Chicago theater credits include performances at Raven Theatre, Profiles Theatre, Prop Thtr, Lifeline Theatre and Chicago Dramatists, among others. Most recently, he appeared in Seven Snakes by Bob Fisher with The Mammals. Off Broadway, he appeared in disOriented by Kyoung H. Park at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, and his regional credits include the world-premiere stage adaptation of David Guterson’s Snow Falling on Cedars at Seattle’s Book-It Repertory Theatre; Revenge and Sorrow in Thebes at Stone Soup Theatre and Search and Destroy at Balagan Theatre. His film credits include Fred Claus (Eskimo) and Let’s Go to Prison (Pharmacy Owner). Mr. Matias has appeared in numerous television commercials, and starred in the short film Employee Dang as the title character.
