Artist Bio
Benjamin Gould

Benjamin Gould (Directing Apprentice) Directing credits include The Gap Year (1st Irish Fesitval, New York); I Am Maura, That Scottish Play!, Shakespeare’s Women (Lyric Theatre, Irish Tour); Women Troubles (CQAF, Belfast); Saoirse the Sea Pirate (Belfast Children’s Festival); The Tain (Milan, Italy, Irish Tour); The Very Special Letter (Stendhal Festival of Arts) and Romeo and Juliet (Hen & Chickens, London). He is the Artistic Director of Commedia of Errors Theatre Company and recently won the John Fernald Emerging Director Award, two Individual Artist Awards from Arts Council Northern Ireland and one from the British Council.
Benjamin graduated with a BA in Drama from Liverpool Hope University, before receiving a MA in Professional Acting at Alra, London. He trained in Commedia dell’Arte with internationally acclaimed Fraternal Compagnia in Bologna, Italy and has been Associate Artist with the company since 2011.
