Ben Viccellio most recently appeared at the Goodman in Oedipus Complex during the 2006/2007 Season. Recent credits include the roles of Petruchio in Short Shakespeare! The Taming of the Shrew, Guildenstern in Hamlet (directed by Terry Hands) and the title role in Short Shakespeare! Macbeth, all with Chicago Shakespeare Theater. He has also appeared in Men of Tortuga, The Cherry Orchard and Tina Landau’s Theatrical Essays at Steppenwolf. Other Chicago credits include The Fifth of July at Griffin Theatre and Shoppers Carried by Escalators into the Flames at Viaduct Theater. Television credits include The Disney Channel’s Even Stevens, and he can be seen in the feature film Alleyball. He received his BA at Kenyon College and has also studied at The School at Steppenwolf and at The California Institute of the Arts.
