Bakesta King most recently appeared at the Goodman in Crumbs from the Table of Joy during the 2005/2006 Season. Other Chicago credits include Deep Azure and Layla’s Dream at Congo Square and A Lesson Before Dying at Steppenwolf. Regional theater credits include A Raisin in the Sun at Kansas City Repertory and Studio Arena Theatre; The Bride at Warehouse Theatre; and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at  Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. Ms. King is an ensemble member of Congo Square.
