Artist Bio
Atley S. Loughridge
(Bio as of July 2007)
Atley S. Loughridge most recently appeared at the Goodman in Mirror of the Invisible World during the 2006/2007 Season. Other theater credits include performing as Medea in Argonautika at Lookingglass and as Imogen in Cymbeline at Northwestern University, also directed by Mary Zimmerman. She is a recent graduate of the Northwestern performance studies department; other undergraduate roles include Anfisa in Three Sisters, directed by Mary Poole, and Honey in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf at Carleton College. Other Northwestern theater credits include directing Our Hell House, a Vertigo Production, and adapting/directing A Room Embodied, an adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own, produced by WAVE. Next season she tours in Argonautika at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the McCarter Theatre and Shakespeare Theatre Company.
