Artist Bio
Arthur Acuna
(Bio as of April 2009)
Arthur Acuna most recentely appeared at the Goodman in Ghostwritten during the 2008/2009 Season. He appeared as Lihn in Ghostwritten at the 2007 Sundance Theatre Lab, Most Wanted at La Jolla Playhouse and received an Obie Award for The Romance of Magno Rubio. His international credits include the lead in David Henry Hwang’s The Golden Child in Manila, Philippines. Mr. Acuna’s film credits include Rigodon and Batang West Side (as Bartolo) at the Manila International Film Festival (for which he received the Best Actor Award). Television roles include Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Third Watch, As the World Turns, Stella, To Maritina and One Life to Live. Mr. Acuna will appear at Old Globe Theatre for Duncan Sheik’s “Whisper House” in December.
