Artist Bio
Am’Ber D. Montgomery
(Bio as of January 2020)
Am’Ber D. Montgomery (Assistant Director) makes her Goodman Theatre debut. Chicago directing credits include: Sheepdog (Shattered Globe); Countess Dracula (Otherworld Theater Company); Lindiwe (Steppenwolf); Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Writers Theater); First Love is the Revolution (Steep); Too Heavy for your Pocket (Timeline Theater). She has participated in training programs at Steppenwolf, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Globe Theater in London and LISPA International School for Performing Arts. An Artistic Associate at Erasing the Distance, she received her BFA from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater Actor Training Program.
