Alexis J. Rogers
(Bio as of June 2012)
Alexis J. Rogers most recently appeared at the Goodman in Crowns during the 2011/2012 Season. Other Goodman credits include Ain’t Misbehavin’. Other Chicago credits include Porgy and Bess (Bess), Spunk and The Piano Lesson at Court Theatre; Hairspray at Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace; Hair at Paramount Theatre; The Old Settler at Writers’ Theatre; The Colored Museum, The Nativity and Seven Guitars (Jeff awards for Best Ensemble and Best Production) with Congo Square Theatre Company; The Wiz at Theatre at the Center; Ragtime at Porchlight Music Theatre (Jeff Award for Best Production) and Don’t Make Me Over—A Tribute To Dionne Warwick at Black Ensemble Theater. She is an ensemble member of Congo Square Theatre Company and holds a BFA from Howard University.
