Artist Bio
Aléna Watters
(Bio as of September 2008)
Aléna Watters most recently appeared at the Goodman in Turn of the Century during the 2008/2009 Season. She makes her Goodman debut. She most recently appeared as one of Bette Midler’s Harlettes at the Metropolitan Opera and in Midler’s latest Las Vegas concert The Showgirl Must Go On at The Colosseum. Off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway credits include Boobs! The Musical at Dillon’s, the Drama Desk Award-nominated NEWSical at Studio 54 and Panasonic Women of Broadway at Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. Regional credits include Brooklyn at Denver Civic Theatre; Beehive! The 60’s Musical at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Foothills Theatre Company, Ogunquit Playhouse, Carousel Dinner Theatre and Temple Theatre; NEWSical: Next Edition Revue in Boston; and Annie and Grand Hotel at Little Theatre of the Rockies. Ms. Watters has performed in numerous readings, industrials, dance concerts, showcases and cabaret performances throughout New York City and has appeared on Live with Regis & Kelly as a dancer for the Relly Awards. She is also a dance and fitness instructor and will soon be certified Yoga4Soul teacher.
