Artist Bio
Ahmad Abdul Razzaq

Ahmad Abdul Razzaq is an Iraqi-born artist whose solo shows have been seen at the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad (1998) and at the Free Hand Gallery in Damascus (2007, 2009). He was artist-in-residence at the Goodman Theater during the 2017 production of Rohina Malik’s Jasmine’s Necklace, hosting a calligraphy workshop as part of Goodman’s Arts in Action series. Ahmed continues to lead a calligraphy workshop in the Chicagoland area, most recently at Beacon Academy in Evanston. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad.
