Abby Thompson (Lead Teaching Artist) she/her is an Emmy Award Winning voiceover artist, actor, educator, playwright, and arts advocate. She was the 2024 recipient of the League of Chicago Theatre’s Samuel G. Roberson Jr. Resident Artivism Fellowship, where she wrote, directed, and produced Alex in Windyland, a devised play in collaboration with youth in Chicago’s foster care system. Abby has taught with Steppenwolf, Filament, Northlight, Mudlark, Storycatchers, Collaboraction, and Chicago Children’s Theatre and is part of Albany Park Theater Project’s Port of Entry. Abby holds a BA in Acting and Voiceover from Columbia College. @abby.thompson23
