Goodman Theatre’s Women’s Board
The Women’s Board was founded in 1978 to expand the community and financial base of the Goodman Theatre.
The current 55 members are among Chicago’s most active and philanthropic women. They share a passion for theater and play an essential role supporting Goodman Theatre productions and education programs. To learn more about Goodman Theatre’s Education and Engagement programs, click here.
The Women’s Board raises more than $1.3 million annually through a variety of activities, including a Premiere Society solicitation campaign, Auction, Education and Engagement Luncheon and Gala.
For four decades, the Women’s Board has raised over $43 million for 38 Goodman productions and an array of educational programs. Through their extraordinary work, Women’s Board members, past and present, have had a profound impact on the Goodman, its audiences and the civic life in Chicago.
