Sam Shankman

Sam Shankman is an actor and musician based in Chicago and is grateful to be making his Raven debut with one of his favorite scores. Acting credits include Falsettos (Court Theatre / Timeline), The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk (Northlight), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, South Pacific, Mary Poppins, Holiday Inn, Shrek, Fiddler on the Roof (Drury Lane), Young Frankenstein (Mercury Theater Chicago), Little Shop of Horrors (Citadel), Dames at Sea, Miracle on 34th Street, Big River (TATC), in addition to work with Blank Theatre Company, Marriott Lincolnshire, and Chicago Shakespeare. Sam often collaborates with Young People’s Theatre of Chicago, where he’s performed and music-directed, most recently for their production of The Hobbit. Last year, Sam composed original music for The Birthday of the World, which premiered at The Alliance. Graduate of Northwestern; represented by Stewart Talent. All my love to Adam!
