Did you know that Goodman Theatre extends its skills and resources beyond the footlights? As an artistic and community organization dedicated to the art of theater and the quality of civic life, the Goodman impacts more than 8,000 youth and lifelong learners each year through a host of education programs and community engagement opportunities.
These efforts will grow exponentially in our new Alice Rapoport Center for Education and Engagement (“the Alice”), opening May 18. For three decades, the Goodman has practiced “arts as education”—using the process of artistic creation to inspire and empower theater lovers of all ages—and believes the arts can serve as a catalyst for positive social change. Transform the way you examine the world, and take part in a communal act of experience and imagination through programs that are accessible to all. Join us.
