Although our stages remain dark, Goodman Theatre’s staff has been working hard to stay connected with you through a thrilling lineup of outdoor and online productions in 2020.
MEET MORE GOODMAN STAFF
This September, we forged an unprecedented partnership with the Chicago Park District to bring Fannie Lou Hamer, Speak On It! to a Chicago neighborhood near you, free of charge.
When the weather began to chill, we brought you a dynamic duo of online productions to warm your heart: the Tony-winning 1999 production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman and Dael Orlandersmith's meditation on race and justice in America, Until the Flood.
We also continue to provide education and engagement programs free of charge to thousands of lifelong learners across the Chicagoland area. Our School Matinee Series, GeNarrations and InterGens programs continue virtually for hundreds of Chicago participants, while we experiment with new programs designed for the present, such as a program for high school playwrights which we piloted this fall.
Through all this, Goodman Theatre is “Still Connected” to you, our audience, without whom our work is not possible. To help with the cost of making and streaming plays as well as offering education programs free of charge, we gratefully ask for your support in the form of a contribution to our Fall Campaign.
Please join us in this effort. We are still here. We are still committed. And we are still connected!
