The Goodman is proud to offer a range of programs that help make performances accessible to more audiences, including enhanced performances, accessible seating and washrooms, braille and large print programs, complimentary Assistive Listening Devices and complimentary tickets for Personal Care Assistants and professional caregivers.

PATRONS WHO ARE BLIND OR HAVE LOW VISION
LARGE PRINT PROGRAMS: available to download for all shows prior to a performance.
BRAILLE PROGRAMS: available day of the performance from the Guest Services desk.
TOUCH TOUR* & AUDIO-DESCRIBED PERFORMANCE: Saturday, December 11, 12:30pm Touch Tour & 2pm performance.
*Touch Tours for the 2021/2022 Season will not have access to the stage due to current health and safety protocols, but will feature alternate pre-show sensory introductions.
Select discounted $35 main floor and mezzanine seating is available for patrons who wish to attend the Touch Tour and Audio-Described performance.
The tour will feature a 45-60 minute presentation detailing the set, costume and character elements for the performance. When reserving tickets please indicate how many people will be in your party for both the Touch Tour and the Audio-Described performance.
Blind and low vision patrons receive a headset for one ear that allows them to listen to a description of the key visual elements of a performance while still hearing the actors. These descriptions are inserted into natural pauses in the show. PATRONS WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING
ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES: Both the Albert and the Owen are equipped with FM frequency assistive listening devices. You may use your own headphones, or they will be provided for you. In addition, neck loops are available that are compatible with t-coil hearing aids. Devices are available at the Guest Services desk in the Goodman lobby. Assistive listening devices are offered free of charge, but a driver's license or valid ID is required as security.
Select discounted $35 main floor and mezzanine seating is available for patrons who wish to attend the ASL-Interpreted or Open-Captioned performances.
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE-INTERPRETED PERFORMANCE: Friday, December 17 at 7:30pm
ASL interpreters are located near the stage for deaf patrons seated in an area of the theater that gives the best sight lines to follow the interpretation and the action on stage. For reserved seating in the front five rows for a signed performance, use promo SIGN when purchasing online or call the box office at 312.443.3800 (voice) or 312.443.3829 (TTY/TDD).
OPEN-CAPTIONED PERFORMANCE: Sunday, December 19 at 2pm
For hard of hearing or deaf patrons, an LED sign presents dialogue in sync with the performance. For reserved seating for this service, use promo OPEN when purchasing online or call the box office at 312.443.3800 (voice) or 312.443.3829 (TTY/TDD).
SENSORY-FRIENDLY/RELAXED PERFORMANCE: Sunday, December 26 at 2pm
Sensory-friendly/relaxed performances are designed to create a performing arts experience that is intended for patrons who have autism or other social, cognitive and physical challenges that create sensory sensitivities and their families.
Discounted $15, $25 or $35 tickets are available for patrons who wish to attend the sensory-friendly/relaxed performance. Patrons attending the sensory-friendly/relaxed performance will also have access to resource materials: social stories, story synopsis, a seating map, etc. to prepare for their visit.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING FOR PERFORMANCES
The Albert Theatre has accessible wheelchair/scooter locations.
Please call ticket services at 312.443.3800 if you have questions or would like to purchase over the phone. All of our ticket representatives can assist you in finding a seat location to fit your needs.
Goodman Theatre has a wheelchair on site, which may be used to transport patrons to and from assigned seats. For use of the on-site wheelchair, contact house management at 312.443.3818.
Goodman staff are not able to assist patrons in transferring to or from a wheelchair, theater seat or vehicle; operate motorized mobility aids such as scooters and Segways; or to provide personal attendant services such as assisting patrons in the restroom, with taking medications, or with similar activities. Ushers are not permitted to accompany patrons to the parking garage.
ACCOMMODATION FOR CAREGIVERS
Goodman Theatre welcomes Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and professional caregivers. If a PCA or caregiver will be attending a show with you, please call the Box Office at 312.443.3800 to reserve their complimentary ticket. You may pick up your tickets at the Box Office by presenting the PCA or caregiver's employee ID or proof of registration as such.
