We are now accepting applications for the first half of the 17/18 season!
There are two halves to this application. Read the following directions carefully.
Please complete the first half of your internship application. Fill out the entire form and list your dates of availability and preferred internship terms so your application can be considered for the appropriate session.
Be sure to upload an electronic copy of:
1) A 500-word personal statement summarizing your career goals and explaining why you want to intern at the Goodman
2) Professional resume Only .doc, .docx, and PDF files will be accepted. Files should be titled with the applicant’s last name and first name, followed by Personal Statement or Resume (ie: Smith, John - Personal Statement or Smith, John - Resume).
The second half of your application (your recommendations) is just as important as the first. You are required to have two letters of recommendation along with your application (more than two will not be read). These recommendations should speak to your experience and ability to excel in a demanding and highly collaborative work environment.
The recommendation writer must email their recommendation to the Goodman Theater Internship Coordinator at Internships@goodmantheatre.org or use The Recommendation Upload Form. Attached files should be titled with the applicants last name and first name, followed by Recommendation (ie: Smith, John - Recommendation). Email subject should be titled with the same.
Letters of recommendations should be submitted on or before the application deadline by the letter of recommendation writer; applicants lacking accompanying letters of recommendation by the deadline date are incomplete. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
