Ivonne Coll most recently appeared at the Goodman in Electricidad during the 2003/2004 Season. She appeared in Jose Rivera’s new play Adoration of the Old Woman at La Jolla Playhouse, for which she received a Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Performance by the San Diego Theater Critic’s Circle. Broadway credits include Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s Chronicle of A Death Foretold directed by Graciela Daniele, Joseph Papp’s Shakespeare on Broadway directed by Estelle Parsons, and Goodbye Fidel. Ms. Coll has worked at the Mark Taper Forum, the Arizona Theater Company, San Diego Repertory, New York’s Public Theater and the Sundance Theater Lab. Other regional work includes the world premiere of Ten Tiny Love Stories by Rodrigo Garcia at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre; the world premiere of Nilo Cruz’s Two Sisters and A Piano at the McCarter Theatre; and Luis Alfaro’s Bitter Homes and Gardens at LATC. This season’s television credits include recurring roles on American Family, Joan of Arcadia, Nip/Tuck, and Skin. Film credits include a debut in The Godfather II, among others. A native of Puerto Rico, Ms. Coll represented the island in the Miss Universe contest and had her own variety show and sitcom. She is a private coach and acting teacher at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles.
