Applications for the Goodman’s Artistic Administration, Production & Design, and Stage Management internships are now closed for the 19/20 season.

Artistic Administration internships (Casting, Development/Fundraising, Education & Engagement, Literary Management & Dramaturgy, Marketing, PR/Publicity) operate in the spring (Jan-May), summer (May-Sept), and fall (Sept-January).
Stage Management internships operate on Goodman's production schedule, and do not follow traditional spring, summer or fall sessions. Please visit the stage management application below for more information regarding their application schedule.
Most design internships (production management, sound, costumes and props) also typically operate on Goodman’s production schedule, and engagements vary based on the design shops' needs. These applications will be reviewed on an “as needed” basis, so applicants may also apply to other internship areas.
When applying, please be sure to list your dates of availability and preferred internship terms so your application can be considered for the appropriate session.
Our application requirements include an online form, submission of a 500-word personal statement, an electronic copy of your professional resume and two letters of recommendation, which should be submitted by the letter writer to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications lacking accompanying form, personal statement, resume, or letters of recommendation by the deadline date are incomplete.
