Ron Hutchinson

Ron Hutchinson most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Moonlight and Magnolias during the 2003/2004 Season. Stage work includes Rat in the Skull (1994) at the Royal Court Theatre, Public Theater, Wisdom Bridge, Mark Taper Forum, revived in London’s West End (1995); an adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s Flight for the Royal National Theatre (1997); Burning Issues at the Hampstead Theatre (1999); Beau! at the Haymarket Leicester Square and United Kingdom tour (2001); Lags at the Theatre Royal Bristol and United Kingdom tour (2002-2003); and Head/Case, which will be produced by the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Belgrade Theatre in Fall 2004.  Mr. Hutchinson has lived in Los Angeles for the past 20 years, where he works in TV and feature films. He has been a writer/producer for HBO, Sony Pictures and Dreamworks. He won an Emmy in 1989 for Murderers Among Us — The Simon Wiesenthal Story and has three further Emmy nominations. Latest feature work includes rewrites on Fox Pictures’ Flight of the Phoenix (to be released 2005) and in television, USA Network’s Traffic.
