Maruti Evans

Maruti Evans collaborated with the Goodman on Crowns during the 2011/2012 Seaosn. He is a New York–based set designer. His work includes An Ores­teia at Classic Stage Company; Room 17B by Parallel Exit at Lincoln Center Theater and its tour (Drama Desk Award nomination); Elsewhere at Brooklyn Academy of Music; Exit, Stage Left! with Parallel Exit at Lincoln Center Theater; Mouth Wide Open and Alice vs. Wonderland at American Repertory Theater; Nutcracker Turbo at Moscow Art Theatre and American Repertory Theater; The Traveling Lady at Ensemble Studio Theatre (Obie Award for Best Revival); Mother Gun, Excelsior and Tumor at Lincoln Center Theater; Siddhartha at New World Stages and Tosca at Opera Colo­rado. He has been nominated for Drama Desk awards for the 59E59 Theatre productions In the Heat of the Night, Slaughterhouse-Five and Blindness. He is the winner of an Audelco award for the First Irish Theater Festival, and has received two additional Audelco nominations, for Relativ­ity with the Ensemble Studio Theatre and Noon Day Sun with Diverse City Theater Co.
