Mark Wendland

Mark Wendland most recently collaborated with the Goodman on A Life in the Theatre during the 2005/2006 Season. Mr. Wendland has designed previously at the Goodman, including Death of a Salesman directed by Robert Falls (also Broadway, National Tour, London’s West End) and costume design for Randy Newman’s Faust. Other Chicago productions include The Turn of the Screw at Chicago Opera Theatre and Sideman at Steppenwolf. Broadway credits include An Almost Holy Picture (with Kevin Bacon). Recent off-Broadway credits include The Beauty of the Father at Manhattan Theatre Club; Hamlet, The False Servant and The Mysteries at Classic Stage Company; Hot’n’Throbbing at Signature Theatre Company; Sabina at Primary Stages; Fucking A at the Public Theatre and Henry V and Cymbeline at the Public Theatre at the Delacourt in Central Park. He also designed A View from the Bridge at the Gate Theatre in Dublin. Other work includes pro­ductions at various regional theaters such as the Alley Theatre, Berkeley Repertory, the Guthrie Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum and Trinity Repertory, among many others.
