Richard Brooks

Richard Brooks most recently appeared at the Goodman in Drowning Crow during the 2001/2002 Season. Other Goodman credits include King in King Hedley II. Mr. Brooks’ stage credits include the off-­Broadway production of Police Boys. His extensive television credits include the role of District Attorney Paul Robinette on the series Law and Order and Henri McNeil in Good vs Evil, as well as guest appearances on Judging Amy, NYPD Blue, ER and Chicago Hope. Television movies include Budge of the Assassin with James Woods, Resting Placer with John Lithgow and Morgan Freeman, Memphis opposite Cyhil Shepherd, Code Name: Wolverine and The Wedding, with Halle Berry. Mr. Brooks’ feature film credits include Shakedown, Shocker, To Sleep With Anger, The Substitute, In Too Deep and The Crow 2: City of Angels. Mr. Brooks made his directorial debut with the feature film Johnny B., in which he also stars. His latest film, titled LEXI, is due out at the end of 2002.
