Anthony Moseley

Anthony Moseley most recently appeared at the Goodman in Massacre (Sing to Your Children) during the 2006/2007 Season. He is currently the Executive Artistic Director of Collaboraction, a Chicago-­based theatre collective, Mr. Moseley has produced over 30 productions and 50 theatrical events including Collaboraction’s annual Sketchbook Festival, of which he is the Festival Director. In June 2007, the 7th annual Sketchbook will take place at the Steppenwold Merle Reskin Garage Theatre. His past Collaboraction directing credits include Mud by Maria Irene Fornes, Refuge by Jessica Goldberg (2000 Jeff Citation nomination for Best Direction), To Kill a Mockingbird by Christopher Sergel based on the novel by Harper Lee, The Cosmonaut’s Last Message to the Woman He Once Loved in the Former Soviet Union by David Greig, Guinea Pig Solo by Brett C. Leonard, The Pull Toy (and His Poison) by Robert McEwen and Trueblinka by Adam Rapp. As an actor, he has been seen in Collaboraction’s When You Comin’ Back Red Ryder (1999 Jeff Citation nomination for Best Actor), Beyond Therapy, Three Sisters and Pong by Brett Neveu at SKETCHBOOK 5 as well as the films The Trouble with Dee Dee, The Acedia Thing and Versus as well as Fox’s Prison Break and numerous commercials and voiceovers. Mr. Moseley has a number of projects in development, including the world premiere of Heroes and Villains by Dan Janoff, working with Grammy Award Winner, Rhymefest, on adapting his new album, El Che, for the stage and directing the highly anticipated world premiere of El Grito Del Bronx by Migdalia Cruz in a co-production between Collaboraction and Teatro Vista. Mr. Moseley was named the Goodman Theatre’s 2007 Michael Maggio Fellow, in honor of the late Goodman Director and Associate Artistic Director.
