William F. Hubbard

William F. Hubbard most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Crowns during the 2003/2004 Season. He is a composer, musician, vocalist and arranger. He is internationally known for his hymn I Love You Lord Today, published in the New African American Heritage Hymnal. His compositions are featured in the new musical Two Queens, One Castle by Jevetta Steele, which Tom Jones recently performed at the off-Broadway National Alliance for Musical Theatre Festival. Mr. Hubbard provided music direction for Pippin at Bethesda’s Round House Theatre, and his work has been performed by such notable artists as Edwin Hawkins and Richard Smallwood, among others. He is a Helen Hayes nominee for his score of Three Sistahs and was the musical director for the City at Peace Organization.
