Rick Sordelet?most recently collaborated with the Goodman on King Lear during the 2006/2007 Season. He has worked on?more than 36 Broadway productions including Disney’s Tarzan, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Aida directed by Robert Falls as well as the?upcoming?Curtains starring David Hyde Pierce.?His regional credits?include?Macbeth at the Public Theater,?Romeo and Juliet for Williamstown Theater Festival,?subUrbia at the Second Stage and Seven Guitars at the Signature Theater.?His work on national tours include Twelve Angry Men and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. Rick has staged?more than 40 first-class productions, including the fights for the opera Cyrano starring Placido Domingo at the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House in London and soon in Valencia, Spain. He is the stunt coordinator for the new film The Game Plan, starring The Rock. He is the chief stunt coordinator for the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light. He sits on the board for The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey and is a company member of the Drama Department. Mr. Sordelet teaches at Yale School of Drama, The Neighborhood Playhouse and the New School of Drama. He is the author of the play Buried Treasure.
